Do you know how to transform the most complex technical challenges in record time into feasible solutions and do you like variety in your work? If the answer is yes, you couldn't be in a better place than as a Lead Piping Designer at Iv-Offshore & Energy. Sometimes you will work on a large multidisciplinary offshore, wind or onshore energy project, and other times simultaneously on several smaller but challenging projects. Together with the Piping Design Manager, you are responsible for ensuring that projects proceed according to plan and that the end result meets the expectations of the customer (which we prefer to exceed). In addition to monitoring the planning and managing a team of enthusiastic Piping Designers, you will also regularly meet with the customer and work closely with specialists from other disciplines.

Iv-Offshore & Energy delivers tailor-made solutions in the field of offshore energy activities. We provide advice from the first feasibility studies up to and including the execution of all engineering and procurement activities! The offshore and energy sector holds no surprises for us. We have a proven track record in offshore platforms, FPSOs, onshore facilities and complex steel and mechanical installations for offshore applications. You may already be familiar with our involvement in the DolWin Alpha platform and the Sofia HVDC offshore converter platform . In addition, Iv-Offshore & Energy is making great strides in the offshore hydrogen production market. For example, we are, among others, the engineering partner for the PosHYdon pilot project !

What do we expect of you?

We are looking for an enthusiastic Lead Piping Designer with a higher vocational degree in Mechanical Engineering and ten to fifteen years of relevant work experience. You are familiar with E3D Aveva and AutoCAD 3D. Communicating with our international clients or foreign colleagues is not a problem for you, as you have an excellent command of both the Dutch and English language. Like no other, you are able to convince and motivate people and know exactly how to get the best out of your team, but you also know how to achieve the real needs of the customer. You can organise large complex projects and with your keen eye for detail, are able to oversee the whole.
