Are you ready to play a pivotal role in shaping the exciting world of Advanced Air Mobility? Look no further! GKN Fokker Elmo is seeking a dynamic and passionate program support officer to be a driving force within this highly innovative and fast growing market.

The Program Support Officer for the AAM Wiring IPT supports the Program Manager(s) in the day-to-day program operations of the business and be responsible for the administration and activities associated with control and monitoring of progress, scope, cost and resource management within the program. All programs within the IPT are within the NPI phase (Lifecycle 3 to 7), with the scope ranging from Design and Build-to-Build to Print.
As Program Support Officer, you will be part of the multi-disciplinary team and working together with other team members like commercial managers, manufacturing engineers, design engineers, team leads and planners. Your primary role is the execution of activities associated with order & demand management, monitoring and control of progress with for example EVM Management, change management and document control. You will interact frequently with our customers on deliveries, Coordination Memo's and set-up activities for the programs.
By joining this team, and working together with various AAM/UAM customers, all in the process of developing electrical airplanes or EVTOL's, you are contributing to making the aerospace market more sustainable.

Job Responsibilities

  • You prepare and maintain the customer outlook (forecast/demand).
  • Responsibility for the review process of customer purchase orders. This requires involving many different functions with key competences, which could include quality, engineering planning, export control, legal etc.
  • Preparing the demand for operations within ERP, including required performance measures and preparing the handshake agreements with the performance site.
  • Provide progress updates towards the customer with regards to deliveries, NPI planning and document control.
  • Compiling and follow up work breakdown structure (WBS), organization breakdown structure (OBS), and cost breakdown structure (CBS) schedules/ plans for the program.
  • Control and monitoring on progress, scope, costs and resource management and allocation for the program.
  • Supporting Risk and Opportunity Management activities and managing the risk register to control and mitigate the risk exposure.
  • Establishing and controlling robust document management in the IPT and towards/ from the customer.
  • Support creation, coordination and delivery of (change) proposals to customer requests.
  • You assist with standardizing and optimizing ways of working.

Job Qualifications

  • Customer focus and pro-active attitude. Interact with and involve all relevant stakeholders.
  • Has strong communication skills and the ability to achieve by influencing others.
  • Hands on experience with working in ERP systems (e.g. BaaN, SAP).
  • A high level of accuracy in performing your work.
  • A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Power Point).
  • Skilled in the Dutch and English language, spoken and written.
  • Experience with planning tools (e.g. MS projects) is an advantage, but training can also be provided
  • Ability to build relationships with customers and other external stakeholders.
  • Ability to cope within a fast pace environment, with regular changes and challenged
